I am Rahim (Abdul Rahim Ahmad), born 5 years after Merdeka. My parents and family were residing in Southern Thailand when I was born. I had two birth certificates then because my dad registered me there and in Kedah where he and my mum were from. When I was one year old, may parents decided to move back to Kedah after 12 years there and my Thai birth certificate was gone missing since then, so I can only prove I am Malaysian.

Currently residing in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor and happily married to Azi (Azian Muhamad Ariff). We are blessed with 4 children, 3 girls and a boy, all grown up - as big or bigger than us. I work at UNITEN (Universiti Tenaga Nasional) and Azi at The Malaysian Examination Syndicate (or Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia).

My eldest daughter Arifah is in her final year medical course at UPM. Afifah, the second daughter is finishing her South Australian Matriculation at INTI International University College in Nilai. Afiq, the only boy (opps, should be a gentleman now) in the family will be taking SPM in November 2009. He loves soccer and is an avid supporter of MU and Real Madrid.  The baby in the family, like me among my siblings, is Atiqah who is in form 1.
