We arrived in Lille city, a border city between France and Belgium at almost midnight of the 20th July. We slept at ETAP hotel 6 km from the city centre. Early morning 21 July 2008 we went to Lille city and did some shopping at the shopping centre near the Main train station Gare SNCF Lille EUROPE. After about 2 hours in Lille, we departed for Nantes via northern France, passing through nice scenery of wheat farms, rivers and breathtaking sceneries. Among the cities we passed were Amiens, Rouen, Alencon, Laval and Chateaubriant before arriving in Nantes by late evening while the sun was still up.
