Geneva is the capital for some UN agencies. It also houses CERN - partly. CERN is part France and part Swiss. But the main aprt in Swiss. Geneva is very much French - as oppose to Zurich which is very German. One thing unique about Swiss is that the people there speaks French in some part, German and Italian in others. Some people speaks all three. Road signs changes from German to French seamlessly as we moved into different areas of the country. We spend about 2 hours in Geneva. As I said, it was raining quite heavily. Geneva sits by the lake Leman. The lake is shared between Swiss and France. The good thing abour Geneva is that it is an "English" enabled city unlike cities in France. They even have an English speaking radio channel.
